ZERO WASTE AMHERST
Together We Make Zero!
Zero Waste Schools
"Restore our Earth" was the theme of Earth day, 2021, which focused on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world's ecosystems (EarthDay.org).
All over the world, students and families, faculty and staff are already committed to greening the Earth. Greta Thunberg has been and is a great role model for our youth.
Movement on achieving Zero Waste is happening in our Amherst school system, though it is slow and needs much more consistent, ongoing support.
